From our hearts to yours
Morgan and French is fuelled by our appetite for creating, original and unique pieces of quality jewellery. Never far from our sketchbooks, each design begins as the spark of an idea which evolves from a pencil drawing to a finished design. We love the process of experimenting with new designs, shaping the metals, exploring the way it’ll move and hang, and how it can be personalised.
It’s a constant inspiration to us that the pieces we dedicate hours to creating will become something that whoever its for will treasure forever. Our pieces ignite wonderful memories, celebrate life’s special moments and tell a story.
This is Natalie, she has been a key member of the studio team since 2012 and she is a Designer Silver Smith. She makes many of the Twisted Typist designs from start to finish . She loves being super busy and Christmas in the studio is her favourite time of year. She has a Chow Chow called Cooper who she, and we, adore.
This is Beth, if you have ever called the studio you will have chatted to Beth. She answers emails, receives your impressions and gets them ready for Tilly. She is also a dab hand with the engraving machine and all things technical; she also selects the music we listen to in the studio. Beth has two big dogs called Rocky and Molly who are both as soft as she is.
Hannah has been working at the studio since 2015 and she handles all our social media channels. She also answers all the enquiries on Not on the High Street and Hard to Find. Hannah is also Lisa’s PA and has been working on preparing all the product descriptions for the new website as well as being kept very busy with despatching all the orders.
Tilly has been with us since 2014 and she makes all the FingerPrint Jewellery and Ten Tiny Toes jewellery. Tilly is totally dedicated to her work and is meticulous in everything she does, she is a true perfectionist. She has two children and a dog, and her favourite past time to relax is fishing!
Meg is our newest Silver Smith and she works with Natalie in the upstairs studio at the Old Fire Station making Twisted Typist jewellery from design to finished masterpiece. Meg has a very creative flair and designs beautiful pieces of jewellery incorporating handcut silver feathers and silver reticulation.
And I’m Lisa Morgan, and I started FingerPrint Jewellery back in 2006 on my own, on my kitchen table. I’ve been post girl, customer services, designer, maker and tea girl and I’m now very proud to be part of a team, they simply are the best girls to work with and they are all so enthusiastic and proud of the journey we are making together.
